Self Evolution

To say that transition is going on in my life right now would be a slight understatement! The proper term would be something in the 360 degree turn and 360 back again. But all of which is being met with great excitement and anticipation! Let me lay everything out for you. I recently became engaged to the most vivacious and wonderful woman that has ever set foot on this beautiful green and blue Earth...I'm serious! I had the world vote on it and they agreed! We've set forth on the whirlwind of planning a wedding and our lives together. All of which will come with bumps in the road, but overall the most wonderful trip of my life. Speaking of trips, Victoria and I are organizing our move to Anchorage, in the land of the midnight sun. It's been overwhelming so far, but overflowing with excitement that exceeds even my most fervent imaginings. We've had so much to think about; school, jobs, a place to live, and of course all the wonderful adventures we'll have once we get there.
We have found a place to live, with the assistance of others, which will end up being across the street from my sister, brother-in-law and my adorable niece Annika. All of which we're both thrilled about. Anchorage is a beautiful city with boundless outdoor pursuits at our disposal, being flanked by mountains to the east and ocean to the west so our possibilities are without end.
On the job front some leads have begun but nothing has been solidified, adding much stress to my mind...but with the reassurance from Victoria that everything will be ok and something will line up. I'm currently looking at an Environmental Scientist position with Bristol Environmental and Engineering which is currently at the top of my wish list. The job would be a dream come true for me, with it encompassing almost all of my passions. Some others include a position at an organic coffee company as well as at the alternative energy company my brother works for.
I'll write more as things progress, with hope of exciting things to report on. Untill then...

Juiced.

So...as I get my feet wet with this blogging thing I feel like I should start by announcing a breakthrough. I officially lasted the entire day without a cup of coffee, i.e. The Nectar of the Gods. I'll touch on other exciting aspects of my life as I blog more!...exciting to me anyways.
